I had the pleasure of shooting the first ever Bellingham SeaFeast at Zuanich Point Park, which overlooks Squalicum Harbor in the Port of Bellingham. There was more fresh seafood than you could ever imagine, live music, a salmon BBQ cooking competition, a huge area for kids to play, a wine and beer garden with all the best local brews as well as a mock U.S. Coast Guard rescue happening right in front of the event. The event ended with an amazing dinner dubbed the "Feast of the Sea" with 7 tables full of seafood ranging from fresh salmon cooked over a dozen different ways, oysters, clams, prawns, Dungeness crab, sushi and many different types of seafood rolls. The event had a huge turnout and I can't wait to shoot it again next year!
